I grew up in Japan and love sharing my language and culture with students around the world. Teaching is my passion — there's nothing better than the moment a student holds their first real conversation in Japanese.

Do I need any Japanese to start?
Not at all — complete beginners are very welcome. We'll start with the basics and build up at a pace that suits you.
How are lessons held?
Online, over Zoom or Skype. All you need is a stable internet connection and somewhere comfortable to talk.
What happens in the initial consultation?
We'll chat about your goals and current level, try a short mini-lesson, and sketch a learning plan. If it feels right, we book your first full lesson.
Can I reschedule a lesson?
Yes — just let Yuko know at least 24 hours in advance and we'll find a new time that works.
